The phrase itself explains that it holds the concept of internet that we use daily to solve our day to day purposes and fulfill our needs.It basically,refers to the interconnection of various physical devices,vehicles ,home appliances and other objects containing electronics sensors and softwares.
IOT provides the facility of sending and receiving data from one system to another through the network connectivity. IOT is currently one of the fastest growing technology in world, as it contains activities of our day to day life whether it be cooking or whether it be a important work like a business meeting.Depending on this concept of IOT people have predicted that soon our world will be full of sensors each and everywhere detecting each and every moment of an individual and computing there behavioural changes and updating the software one uses,in such a way that the user finds it convienient and easy to use with lesser amount of efforts he has to give in.
IOT is a system of interrelated computing devices,mechanical and digital machines,objects,animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.
As we all know our each and every device that we use in our daily life are all connected and works on the system of network called internet…..whether it be our smartphones,tablets,wrist watch,computers,printers,electronics devices such as televisions,car,refrigarators,etc etc are all some or the other way connected through internet and their working depends upon internet. IOT forms a platform between all these types of devices such that they could communicate to each other through different techniques depending upon the configuration of the device and format a device follows for interpretation of the information it recives.
IOT provides the function of digital controlling of a device from any part of the world….for example now-a-days one can have a control on television digitally so that to keep a track on no misuse of the provided authorities by any of the member of family specially children.The person can set a locking system or can have an record of all the activites taking place at home while sitting in his office through the concept of IOT.
Not only IOT has above features it helps in security,communication,education etc too!
